    Thanks for posting, that was quite an interesting read👍

    Wouldn't have thought there would have been many links to the Templars in the area tbh , though if the tombstones and grave markings with the knights cross on them have always been quite visible in the church yard, I'm surprised the link hasn't been made before.

    Living now in the county with more churches than any other, I've enjoyed visiting quite a few Anglo-Saxon as well as Norman era churches and most have leaflets about their histories. Sadly, with ever dwindling congregations, several are now struggling to meet the necessary maintenance and repair needs though.

    My old folks live at the back of the Church at Areley Kings Stourport that dates back to the 10th Century and has some fascinating gravestones and history, used to have a monastic cell associated with the caves at Blackstone by the river.
