    Brmb

Being resurected next month. Wonder if they'll bring back the Friday night phone in A proper local station now after the beeb have vandalised local radio (all over the country) and lost a lot of very good presenters

Not just the BBC. Commercial radio too has played its part. Quite often listen to Heart Radio but they too killed off local broadcasters a few years back in favour of national shows like the Jamie and Amanda Breakfast Show. Obviously all money driven and just because they are local clearly doesn't mean that presenters are good ones but I do miss decent local radio shows. Don't think we will see the likes of Tony Butler again though.

Remember the jingle '261 BRMB radio...Thursday" In fact you could dial 261 on the phone and hear the news headlines.
