    Jeremy Sarmiento

Loved him again today and a million miles better than Wallace so must start next match.
Wallace was very poor yet again and has no pace - can’t beat a man and awful at crossing. Jeremy takes players on for fun.

Pieters should retire as an awful player in an already poor defence. Palmer needs back to basics in getting to each far post much quicker!

Don’t know what Corberon sees in Chalobah either as he weakened the team yet again plus wouldn’t have taken Okay off even though he was average

Agree with all of the above, stated it on the match thread
Okay has to play every minute he can, Chalobah is useless

Okay should never, ever be replaced by Chalobah unless due to injury; Chalobah is a very poor player. It was a mistake, too, replacing BTA with Maja, who really should have won the game for us. It seems that managers make substitutions for the sake of it, because they can!

Totally agree Kettering. As I’ve stated times before, why change a side when it’s doing OK. I realise that we weren’t leading but substitutions again have weakened us. Unless it’s required or there are are injuries, leave things as they are.

The point my son made. BTA played ok and has the energy to keep going and most likely would have second that miss from Maja!

CC won’t drop Wallace and trying to keep others happy! Wallace on form needs to be nowhere near that team and Saramiento is twice the player! Don’t weaken the middle by taking off Okay. Chalobah and Pieters garbage plus Furlong/Townsend not much better!

Some were saying Kipre was walking ball out of the defence. Well if the players were looking for channels or passes that would not happen!

Palmer starting to annoy me too so hope Griffiths is ready

Im a big fan of Okay but he’s been dismal early season. We did awful first half when he was on the pitch and we conceded; we would have conceded had he have stayed on. Chalobah always seems to take the fall though.

Agree on Sarmiento though. Wallace is out of form and needs dropping.

Only listened to the commentary of this game so obviously only have a limited view of it through the opinions of Gez & AJ but certainly seems that Sarmiento needs to start ahead of Wallace who has been poor so far. Yokuslu too seems to have begun this season off his normal pace so maybe sense in Corberan managing his game time-the only problem is that with TGH now gone, Chalobah seems the only option! Thought Swift and Molumby sounded both engaged yesterday but would have liked to see both BTA and Maja on if possible. Our defence is another matter-lets hope Pipa is up to speed soon and proves his worth.

My views on some of the players mentioned, conscious of Saturday’s game are….
Wallace - agree, not the player he was. 2 observations…1) often moves away from the wing ? Presumably as directed by CC 2) Is the Captaincy an influence on his drop in performance. Clearly he was the obvious choice, but…Maybe Yoku could fulfil the role ?
Palmer - definitely not performing as previously and Griffiths should definitely be considered to start. Observation…has his ‘non transfer’ caused a performance distraction ?
Yoku..again not at his previous level. Observation…the injury is taking more time than expected.
Chalobah…so very disappointing. I was prepared to forgive the tiff with the fans early season and was hoping to see him earn our respect. Sadly nothing so far and (whilst only a short visit as sub) was lazy in his reluctance to chase the guy who sped past him and crossed the ball for Huddersfield’s winner.
I hope I’m wrong, as clearly he has some ability, but he is looking like another Zahore.

I think the consensus regarding Chalobah is pretty clear Prando, not good enough. The other players though like Wallace I can’t condemn over a handful of matches, he was one of our stars last season so maybe being captain has affected his play. We know what he can do. Most teams are struggling to find their feet even the fancied ones so I’m loathe to have a go till they are all firing as a team.

Well at the match yesterday Boingy there was a sense of relief from the crowd when Wallace was subbed. Wallace has no pace - does not beat a man and rarely puts in a good cross. He has been dire since the season began. On the other hand Saramiento was taking on players for fun and the opposition feared him. Wallace has just got to be dropped with Grady and Sacramiento available.

I have been critical of Phillips in the past but credit where it’s due - he’s been one of our best players.

On current form Griffiths should be eyeing a start too due to Palmer costing us at least four points - he has difficulty getting down low quickly at the far posts.
