Isn't it where in the 2024/2025 season that Championship clubs get upwards of £20 Million from the FA/EFL?
This doesn't or hasn't seemed to be on any of our fans radar or have I got this wrong?
IF I have then so be it and my mistake, if I've got this right, then there is no way Tony Stewart is going to allow all his hard work over the years, and especially this seasons spending, let him miss out on over £20 million next season.
Can someone please clarify if I've got this right or wrong, cheers.

The Football League Paper carried this story at the beginning of October and Tony was actually on the front page describing the offer as an insult. He cited various reasons for this, not least the offer in comparison to parachute payments which teams relegated from the Prem get.
The last I heard was the Prem were awaiting feedback from the EFL before making a formal offer.
If I still have the paper I'll post a bit more of what Tony said tomorrow

Can you imagine our club being given £20 Million? It would be like us winning the pools with that lot to work with.

Is it the new tv deal of what..?..just guessing but if it is that and it is £20 million,surely it would be over the length of the deal,if 3 year thats fsoa 7 million..not much different in real terms what are getting now. Originally Posted by Brin

New Sky Deal With EFL Clubs
EFL clubs have unanimously approved a record domestic rights deal with Sky Sports over a five-year period with over 1000 matches to be broadcast each season – a record number of games for any club football agreement.
Apparently this is worth £945 million which is a 50% increase over the existing deal.
The 2.45 - 5.00 pm blackout on Saturdays is being retained throughout the duration of the deal which means a lot of games originally scheduled for a 3.00pm kick off will have to be moved.
The deal is scheduled to run from 2024/25 to 2028/29.
