Burnley and Leicester are the teams that lost out, we didn't - we came second bottom last year and fourth bottom the year before and 9th the year before that - so we didn't go down in their place.
Makes no difference the three that went up will be going straight back down, and Everton will have the points halved to 5 on appeal

Didn’t both clubs agree not to take case any further? Maybe this changes things but their get out of jail card will be covid and the stadium build I reckon

will be interesting if Chelsea or Citeh get a deduction. Chelsea self reported. Citeh has fought every allegation in court.

I was under the impression that if Everton were found guilty and penalised, that both Burnley and Leeds would seek some kind of legal redress, given that if the sanction had been imposed before the end of last season (entirely do-able if the footballing authorities could find their ar5e with both hands, which seems beyond them!) either or both clubs would still be in the Premiership.

As it is, Everton will now be on -6 points, 12 points adrift of safety with almost a third of the season played.

If Burley and Leeds do go to m'learned friends, and given the above, I'd not want to be a toffies supporter right now
