    Champions League

New format next season, the Swiss Model, just been reading about it and trying to understand how it works, got halfway through the convoluted rules and lost interest, it seemed a complex load of bollox and I couldn't be arsed to read on. I have little interest in it now, especially as it's on TNT so I can't watch it, I'll have no interest at all next season. There is absolutely nothing football's administrators cannot touch and make worse.

You need to get into rugbyleague Sinky, all games Televised this coming season,a VAR that works correct 99.9% of the time .No complex rules just 6 tackles then kick.no arguing with the ref or faking injury..What isn't there to like.. ball on play for 70 out of 80 mins and a timekeeping system that works. 😎

I have tried Alfie, you know that, but try as I might I just cannot get interested in it. I've tried club games, I've tried internationals, but none of it grabs me. I can see your point, honestly I can, on paper and in theory, League is a far more entertaining and attractive game than Union, but I love watching Union while League bores me witless.

I have really lost so much interest in footballl at the top level which, with the amount of time and effort I have put in over the years running teams and Leagues, has come as quite a shock to my family.
These days I regard Test Cricket as my number one sport, closely followed by Rugby League and then football in third place, with the emphasis on non-league and then anything away from the top levels.

    I must be getting owd!

I'm getting that way myself SS, but for me it's the behavior of the players and some spectators which I'm getting tired of.

What is really pi$$ing me off is I pay for SKY, I pay for TNT and now the greedy b@stards who run the TV scheduling want me to pay for Viaplay, Amazon and ITV1.

    Not going to happen!
