Manager/Player thoughts ahead of the Plymouth game.

Leam and Cohen answer some questions.

He looks tired before he starts! What’s the old saying? Don’t judge a book from it’s cover!

Doesn’t fill you with much confidence tbh. A simple question about Ferguson and he can’t even mention him by name. No thoughts on away form because it’s before his time? Hmm.

Fgs give the bloke a chance stop picking on every slightest angle of attack…

If you want to pick on anything pick on Andy “tv license paid for” giddings terrible attempt at a round of questioning..

Maybe that’s his style, and goes about his business in a different way behind the scenes .i thought MT was a good orator when he first joined but beneath that what did we have and how did it end up.People moan about lack of communication then they get it and still moan..

I thought Leam came over well, no mock giddy enthusiasm and he appeared to be as honest as he could be for a bloke that's been there for a day or so.

As for Cohen, he looked like a player that didn't want to be there and was just happy to do enough to finish the interview. A bit like his football style.

What a great interview, sensible, pragmatic and realistic. The man has been here a few days, it isn't possible for him to have spoken to all the players individually or to be given reports from all areas of the club, that will take weeks if not more. he made some great comments about not talking about the past or previous management, about not knowing the players character to know how they will recover from injuries. That last point shows that injuries and the amount of time out is impacted by the attitude of the players concerned, you watch how those that want it will be fitter quicker than those that aren't up for it. The last point was his comment on Plymouths recruitment young & fit hopefully that tells you about what type of recruitment strateg he wants to see.

Yes, that last point you make, I had the same thoughts. Maybe young, fit and enthusiastic will be one of his key aims.

Agree entirely. Interviewer annoyed me, whoever he is, said at one point, final question and the went on to ask about half a dozen more. Very unprofessional.
