    Dee v st j

    Scheduled for 14th Feb.

Any reason why this can't be rescheduled for sat 10th Feb ( cup weekend ) and if it pisses down we can still play it on the Wednesday.14th.

It will likely be up to both clubs to apply to the SPFL to have it moved to Saturday 10th February unless the Dabs are playing at home that day.

No reason why it shouldn't be changed. It would be better for both sets of fans and would avoid having to play on Dens twice in 3 days. Sense, however, and Scottish Football don't often go hand in hand.

Metcheck which is weather forecasting website are currently stating that heavy rain will fall in Dundee on Saturday 10th February 2024.
However metcheck are notorious for changing their weather forecast for over seven days in advance on a daily basis so they are likely to change their mind about the weather forecast for Saturday 10th February 2024.

Change to the Cup Saturday and that'll leave the 14 th for tomorrow's Hearts game if it falls to the weather and if safety concerns.

The pitch situation at Dens and a bit of bad luck with weather for away games could really start to hurt us.

False economy trying to save money on the upkeep of the park.

Thank goodness tonight’s game against Hearts is not being played at Dens Park otherwise it would have been cancelled by now due to a waterlogged pitch

Apparently, an independent contractor doing the pitch at the moment. Be interesting to see if games are still off in the future.

It is the same contractor that are looking after stuff at Gardyne and possibly Riverside as Dundee are using that as well.
