    Edinburgh city

Half a million to run, 40 season ticket holders.

Wtf is the point in these types of clubs being in the professional game?

They were formerly Postal United who became Edinburgh City and gained promotion to League 2 from the Lowland League.
In my opinion Edinburgh City would be better moving to one of the towns in the Scottish Borders such as Galashiels to bring SPFL football to the Borders. It might be their salvation as they are liable to go bust remaining in Edinburgh and playing in front of around 300 spectators at their home games.
They have tried playing their home games on a Friday evening to try to get more paying customers but that does appear to have been a success.
