    Raphael Wicky

Rumours floating about we could be interested in this gentleman.Never heard of him myself but did well with Basel apparently and his style is very similar to that of VK.

If his "style" is anywhere near Das Kaiser's he can pi$$ right off.

Is it your time of month BT ?

Your most confrontational about VK when before you hoped he stayed , now all of a sudden his styles poor and you want rid.

Style wasn’t the problem - winning games was the problem.

    Last season was diabolical.

I can hardly want rid of a manager who has already jumped ship.

SD beat him 3 times last season with a bang average Everton team.

It seems ALK/Pace only want "s-ex-y" managers.

    Good luck with that.

He has beaten both Guardiola and Mourinho in the Champions League so he cannot be bad.

"Wicky posted a win rate of over 55 per cent at both Basel and Young Boys. His time in the USA with Chicago Fire between December 2019 and September 2021 was, however, far less successful. Wicky won only 12 games, and was fired after Chicago Fire missed out on the MLS play-offs."

Sounds a bit like our Vinni, a poor season in the USA but walks straight into the top job back in Switzerland. Funny old game football.

I have never previously been aware that you can "fall upwards". Like you say mon ami, it's unfathomable is football.

Iam sure Kompanys last stint in this league was quite successful with his "style"

We are now lumbered with around 40 players, half of who would struggle in League 1. His "dedication" to Burnley Football Club was obviously fuelled by self-promotion and self-interest.

He's ditched his old mate who we really don't want.

I read yesterday we are now affiliates with "Visit Detroit".

    Jesus pfhucking wept.
