    Darko's back.

Schalke could have had him for £3 million but sent him back. Another problem, to add to the many others, for our next manager to solve.

Which is why we need an experienced manager with successful experience in the Championship and preferably in the Premier League, someone who can sort out messes. Someone like David Moyes, or (and I'm ducking while I say this) Sean Dyche, whose sacking was the biggest mistake Pace could have possibly made

Wow that would be a turnaround of playing staff re appointing Dyche - though he wants Esteve and Brun Larsen off if we believe the rumours -

Why should Dyche want to come back anyway?
He is a PL manager and has been for 8 seasons, why would he even consider managing in the Championship when he was considered not good enough for us just two years ago?

He should not have been sacked in the first place. SD is a man of tenacity, loyalty and integrity.

Even the notoriously fickle Toffees fans want to keep him.

We’ll see - there’s time yet for the wheels to come off just like at Burnley

The wheels never came off while SD was in charge, he would have kept us up.
