    Cole Palmer

I need to get this off my chest.

Yes he did OK when he came on but not the world beating performance the pundits are making out it was. There is definately an agenda happening here.

He had 20 minutes to do something against a tired 57th ranked Slovenian team who they should have mauled and who Mr fkn Bean would have looked good against vs what Saka did.

Gordon had 1 minute plus injury time. 3 touches and 2 chances. Totally overlooked and now that Foden could miss the next game they want Palmer in.

Jeeezus Gordon has had just as good a season as Palmer and get this,NATURALLY FKN PLAYS ON THE LEFT.

The problem is though Sclox, nobody in charge who matters seem to consider the obvious facts and stats available.

Southgate and co are blinkered and can't even see the obvious in front of them.

    Yes indeed Shlox mate.

The fact is that there has to be some kind of FA lead Rule that Chinless has to follow that says players from the fraud 6 must take priority. You know if Luke Shaw was even 50% fit (the lad didn't play all season, has no business at all being in the England squad what so ever, dead weight, waste of a shirt but there he is) he start over Tripz.

This has always been the case. From a cynical point of view I'm assuming it has something to do with demands from sponsors. How else do you explain that from the days of Schole being played on the left, to Joe Cole on to Foden, none of them are left wingers.

Chinless didn't bring Grealish which must have upset his paymasters.

Or alternatively the man is such an entirely clueless idiot that he thinks that forcing the so called 'best players' into an 11 will win games.

It didn't when he was so how part of the England team as a player, it hasn't work before he became manager, it simply do not work.

In the England - I can't believe it's not football I put out my 11.

    T-Rex

    Walker - Stones - Guey - Tripz
    Rice - Bellingham
    Foden (Palmer)
    Palmer - Kane - Gordon

With Foden gone Palmer slots in to NO.10 as he prefers to work in the centre. It's where he had so much success for Chelsea.
I could also make the argument to start Watkins or Toney, both are far more mobile and dynamic than Kane, Kane should come on with 20-30 to go.

However, some clown made him captain... It's a woeful state of affairs.

I noticed it was “when Palmer and Mainoo came “on from the pundits, very little said about Gordon, he must be really pissed off. Palmer was running round like a taller version of Miggy, most of it pointless, he loves himself mind, as does Bellingham. That’s what gets me about our lot, they’re not as good as THEY think they are,imo

From what I've seen of Gordon, he doesn't strike me as a person who cares much for other people opinion.

If anything I guess the fact they're talking up MainUre is good for Gordon, he's playing without the pressure. The press will highlight MainUre so when he makes a mistake and he will, the nation will turn on him like the did Beckham.

Better to be the savour from the shadows than the failure in the spotlight.

I cannot fathom why the manager didn’t start Palmer and Gordon in a free hit game (as they had already qualified). Even then, not to put them on at half-time after a sh*t show first 45 is impossible to understand.
I think England’s only chance of doing well in this tournament is if he gives the young lads a go (including Mainoo), but it looks like it’ll take injuries to his favourites for that to happen.

I guess the reason you can't fathom it is because you have a brain, a clue, an idea of what to do with a squad of some of the most talented English players assembled in 40 yrs.

Sadly, the disconnect between you & the muppet getting paid to ruin the potential of this generation of players is that you are a rational human with better than half a brain and the good sense to play world class player for their club sides in the nation team set up, where are the man who should be doing the laundry who speaks with the voice of a pre-pubescent loser does not.

Remember that Clowngate has been getting paid £5million PER YEAR to fail.

The definition of rewarding failure in the dictionary should be accompanied by a photo of that chump.

It is an insult to every hard working person in this nation that that joke gets paid money to do his job so poorly. He should donate the last year to charity and disappear under the rock of obscurity where he dwelled the day after be blazed that penalty over the bar all those years age, confirming his status as a national disgrace!

Not that I have a strong opinion one way or another about the man or the dire situation which his incompetence as created.

Completely agree on that team Rag.

This tournment more than ever is showing the bias.

I hadn't thought about the sponsor bit for picking players - makes a lot of sense to be honest.
