Young Players In An Unusual Environment

Every time you listen to these so called experts on tv talking about England, they all appear to be defending Southgate. Why ? I don’t know. Why don’t they just say what they are really thinking ? As for the “ Unusual Environment bit, we have players here , who were their clubs Players Of The Season this year, who as yet, have not performed like they should. Some of these players are Premier League Winners, and have played in a pressurised environment for some time, AND have produced the goods against some of the top teams at European football’s highest level.
How can Southgate be defended ? Only by topping the group. One of those teams were so far down the rankings , they were almost off the scale.
Southgate should take a leaf out of Danny Blanchflower’s career instead, and do what we all want to see- doing it in style, as they used to say at White Hart Lane in their glory years.

I don't know why the press *****foot around Southgate, if you read the comments after any game on the BBC sports website everyone is saying the same as us, Southgate is clueless.

I shall bear that in mind Warmy, next time I'm bored witless watching 90 minutes of tedious dross from his England team, I'm sure it will help.
