Cameron is going on a season long loan to St.Johnstone . That I didn't see coming! Totally bizarre decision by the club, it's not like he is coming back. Cannot see the sense in either move today.

Thought it was said he wanted to be close to family when made available. Thought that was down SW direction, maybe wrong
His family is in north east isn't it. Not bothered he is gone tbh. No doubt somebody's on the way in.
I'm glad he clarified that he was being a bit of a baby, because the drive from Newcastle to Nottingham and from Newcastle to Perth is pretty much the same mileage and time.
Poor captain im(h)o but I'd like to have seen him given a go at left back where his falling over to buy a foul would've exposed us less than on the left of back 3 where the attempt to cheat exposed us on countless occasions. Classic case of the British disease where, if a defender is 6"3' he automatically becomes a central defender even if he's only 5"2' when he jumps.
I hope playing SPL works out better for him than it did Cal.
I can totally understand being pissed off about the captaincy being taken away after 3 years. We know he struggled a lot of the time last season, but giving it to Maca is gimmicky IMO and part of the management team’s efforts to divert the blame
/stamp their authority IMO.
Good luck to KC in the SPL.
Back to Maca, his job is to concentrate on being a cold-blooded assassin in front of goal, I wouldn’t want him to be weighed down by any extra responsibility.
Many times he seemed slow moving the ball out, but as the midfield players often gave an impression of the terra-cotta army he just had to keep the ball to himself.
