    Why Langstaff went to Millwall.....

I am a Lions fan and have just listened to him giving his reasons why he chose Millwall. Yes there were other clubs after him but what really made his mind up was to play for a Manager who himself was a top striker, which Neil Harris was and who brought on strikers from lower leagues such as Lee Gregory, Steve Morrison etc. On the 23rd July the Lions play Forest in Spain and I really hope he plays for us against them. By the way he also said that Notts County was a great club, so have a good season you guys.

Usually anybody only changes jobs for a couple of reasons - more money and / or better opportunities to develop. This seems to be no different. Millwall offer him something Notts can't - Championship football. He has shown the ability to grow into each challenge, hopefully he does the same for you. If he does, you have a gem and I hope the add-on clauses are good for us!!.

There may have been interest from other clubs but only MFC put in an offer anywhere near an acceptable level

Hope he scores lots of goals for you, I'll follow his season with interest.
Fond memories of cold blow lane late 70s early 80s, those were good times that have disappeared in the past.

The vast majority of Notts fans wish him well and hope he does the business for you.
Give him time he his a natural goal scorer and even if he’s not scoring for a time he will work his socks off and will run and chase everything.
Put in plenty of crosses and he will get on the end of many. Good luck to him and you.

Best of luck Macca! The writing was on the wall once we failed to achieve (get anywhere near) promotion. I truly believe he would have stayed another season if we were in league 1. Ironic that he will now be up against his old mate Ruben in the championship.

Feels like the decision to appoint and stick with Stuart is now delivering in a negative way. Macca gone, jones likely to follow, and season ticket sales nowhere near they would have been if we were in league 1
