Apologize for the absence since the end of the season. Had a busy end to the school year and then a busy summer holiday. But we are a week away from the start of the season. But first, recognition for the previous season of the Prediction League.

Rules:
1. Every match (Premier League, League Cup, FA Cup - any competition Wolves are in), participants will predict the final score, along with one goalscorer.
2. 3 points will be rewarded for picking the correct score and result
3. 1 point will be rewarded for picking the correct result
4. 1 point will be rewarded for picking a correct goal scorer
5. In cup competitions, the prediction is for after full time. Anything that happens in extra time or penalties is irrelevant to the Prediction League. So if you predict a 2-2 draw with Cunha scoring but the match is 1-1 after full time, but 2-2 after extra time and Cunha didn't score til extra time, you would only get 1 point for correctly picking it is a draw after full time.
Wolves have had a calm summer, with most of the business being completed in the early portion of the offseason. In come forward Jorgen Strand Larsen, winger Rodrigo Gomes and wingback Pedro Lima. Out are Max Kilman and now Pedro Neto. I think Wolves did well on both of the transfers out, making a good bit of money. I think Kilman is a very good CB but we had been waiting for him to take the next step and it never really happened here. I think he was also not quite captain material. He may get there as he's still only 27 and has several more years of quality play left. I am worried about depth and quality at CB but I suspect the front office will be addressing that before the transfer window closes. Neto is a fantastic player and often the best player on the pitch when he played. Issue was, he played in less than 60% of available matches because of injuries. If he can stay healthy, he's one of the best attackers in the Prem IMO.
Arsenal will be looking to start their season off in great form as they have title aspirations. They could have won the title last season, if not for a rough December in which they only got 10 of an available 21 points. From January through May, they got 50 of an available 54 points. Their offseason was about keeping their core together, which they accomplished and have added David Raya and Riccardo Calafiori. I don't expect Wolves to win, but hope for a performance like the season opener against Manchester United last season, just without any robberies from VAR.
Arsenal 3-1 Wolves
