Hats off to Carlos! Townsend was ****e - Asante couldn’t hit a barn door and useless players like Chalobah, Reach, M’Vila all were shipped out. Wallace is past his sell by date but on his wage it looks like we are stuck with him.

Like Mowatt and Kipre - Grant looks a different player and today it was not just going forward but running back to defend. Well done him! Heggem looks three times the player Townsend was! Maja a huge improvement on Asante - in fact I don’t think Asante would have got any of those four goals! Even Molumbey playing well with Mowatt so not missing Okay!

Then other players coming in and Dike back. For me though the style of football is so much better on the eye than last season!

PS - if only we could ship Okay and Wallace out and use that money wisely!

But the football was boring last year and even the regulars admitted that. You were the one saying we would be in a relegation battle! Give Carlos some credit - he’s an intelligent chap and would have been long gone!

The team will be better than last year and the football so far is a testament of that!

In my defence I said I would be happy with a season that did not include a relegation threat, not that we would be in one for sure. Just clearing that up.
