Another team like Swindon. So expect an aerial barrage. Despite the apparent doom and gloom, I'm feeling quietly optimistic. 2-1.

So a poor 1st 30 minutes but it slowly got better. Once again caught cold in the 1st few minutes. There's clearly a problem there - they don't seem to be geed up for it.
However, once Bell was forced into ditching the safety first lineup things were definitely better. I like the fact that Bell kept Hemmings on despite bringing on Bogle and Long. Add to that the use of Lankester as an advanced RWB and they were set up to add pressure as long as they did nothing silly in the midfield. Obviously this lineup couldn't play every time but is promising as a future plan B.
I thought Tracey had his best game for a long time. Just a shame he was the one put through in the first half where he never looked confident.
Knight Lebel had another good game, I think.
The goal was classic MickeyD but you have to give Tabs a lot of credit for hitting the first effective free kick of the season.
Long really looks up for it and must start against Morecambe. In view of the fact that the Shrimps are having a tough time scoring, we could do without a two man deep midfield so I would also go without Thomas.
So away from the embarrassed of being, we now have 3 games where we can start to build up some momentum. Let's see.
Excellent 2nd half after a turgid first 45 minutes. Big shout out to the keeper who made a brilliant save from 25 yards when we were still 1 down. That would have gone in last season.
Subs made a difference particularly in the delivery into the box. Both goals came from sublime crosses.
Don't know what's happened to Billo, he's really gone off the boil. Sanders puts a shift and a half in, mostly unnoticed and Shilow had his best game since he arrived. Longy a natural goalscorer as we all know, just needs to be able to get on the pitch.
Agree, In fact, Bromley I felt did us a favour, they got an early goal and then sat back a little—zero aerial threat (the stats show that). Lee with a good team talk at halftime obviously, they needed it. 2nd half came out with more bite and became more and more the Crewe we wish to see,
Subs, from Crewe were good, with Tabiner, at last coming out of his shell and looking over any injury lag. Holicek, having been the creative engine so far this year, needed the rest. Tabiner and Holicek together? hurm.... jury out. Tracey, great game, it's just his confidence to put that one away.....Hemmings put in a shift, and Bogle will assist as he returns to fitness. Having both on might not happen often, but this made more space for Long. Pete on the commentary, said "Like last year coming from behind", but almost in the same breath said, a major change of players from last season?
So now for the next 3 x games, I hope for a minimum of 7 points and hopefully 9, before the Newport game. By then 11 points, would be mid-table, before a hard run of games, Newport a point, and October haul, I would be happy with 8 points! So a total of 20 points, mid-table by the time we head to Walsall!
Surprised (or am I, as we did well) there haven't been more posts about our first 3 points. I was actually born in Bromley (though never saw the then amateur club play, and a local resident I'm in touch with kindly sent his impressions of the game including some photos. He was behind the goal where our goals were scored. He says "Even when 1-0 down Crewe were playing well so wasn't surprised when they scored." And "Looks like the shine is starting to come off Bromley. Just hope they can stay in the league." That drop off in confidence means Trevor could almost be a Crewe fan!
