    New Champions League format

Looks sh1t to me. 3 wins will get you through. Set up so all the bigger names will reach the last 16. There will be a lot of dead rubbers. One good thing though is that there’s no dropping into the Europa league.

What do you think of it?

I think there’ll be fewer sell out crowds.

Not dropping into the Europa is much fairer for the teams in that competition, though.

Watching Milan v Lpool and there’s plenty of empty seats, wondering what Sandra’s thinking, Milan getting beat 1-3, they need a bloke on a microphone to get the atmosphere going,****e.

I'm not sure the new format will help the competition in general. Time will tell I guess. No doubt it'll ensure the usual suspects all qualify and keep their piggy snouts in the financial trough.

We've got a lot to look forward to, a long way to go.

Good times ahead bonny lads and lasses

Call me old fashioned, but I'd rather it was only for the Champions.

    Spot on.

Might as well call it what it is...a European Super League

    The cup winners cup format.

It's bit of a stretch to call it a 'Champions League' when Spurs compete in it from time to time.

Not to mention the Dross of eastern Europe!

It is what it is though. I guess there is financial merit for those weaker leagues and clubs.

This “dross” is actually the ones who won their leagues
