    Ex-Millers In The News (2024-25)

    Just realised that we probably needed a new one of these for the new season. Better late than never as they say

    Feel free to add posts whenever anything of significance happens regarding an ex-Miller.

    So far tonight Viktor hasn't had much to do as Stoke are 1-0 up at HT over Hull.

    Not a great 2nd half for Viktor as they lose 3-1 although a couple of the goals came immediately after he'd taken a big clattering.

    ELK come home, we need some updates

    Matt Crooks will be playing in the MLS playoffs as Real Salt Lake have secured a place. Matt has appeared in 28 of their 33 games, scored 3, 3 assists and 7 yellow cards.

    Madden 6th ........... A Jatta 14th
    W Grigg 74th .......... D McGoldrick 90+4

    Ex-Miller loanee Will Grigg 1 goal.
    Old players scoring goals, Grigg 33yr, Madden 34yr, McGoldrick 36yr.
    McGoldricks 90+4 minute equaliser was from a penalty, which he missed, but scored with the rebound.

    Ex-Miller loanee player Will Grigg scores 2 goals for Chesterfield, making it 6 games unbeaten.
    This win for Chesterfield is the first win at Newport County in 55 years.

    Will Grigg on 8 goals, leading the way in league 2 goalscorers, in 12 games.

    Newport County have the worst defensive record in league 2 with 24 goals conceded in their
    opening 12 games.
