    Irrational superstitions

Do any of you have any of these? I am a shocker, if I fail to salute a magpie then I think the day is doomed, I now find myself blaming me for Albions last 2 defeats as the Albion picture in my downstairs loo fell down the day we lost the first game and I haven’t put it back yet 🤦🏻*♂️

Ah, so it's you to blame for our two losses is it! 😁

Tbh, I think you'll find that most of us have some rather irrational superstitions or little rituals we feel we need to do in the hope that something either happens or doesnt. Usually over something we're fretting over so watching or listening to the Albion will tend to bring that on 😁. All total rubbish of course but makes us feel better!

I think I read some where that something like 60% of football fans honestly believe that what they wear on the day has some effect on the outcome. Don't they realize its nothing to do with what you wear - its more to do with what you do on the day!

Yup that’s me, have to wear something I did last time we won, under Bruce it was getting quite difficult!

I can’t watch us on TV, I haven’t done for years.

In very important games, I often only check the score at full time.

I know where you’re coming from. For some reason it’s harder to watch Albion live on TV than actually being at the game. It could be the fact that there are thousands of you hoping for the same outcome when you are actually there and not just yourself watching from home.

I watch but if we are winning have to go out for a walk for the last few minutes, just can’t watch.

In respect of the tilt of this thread, are not all superstitions irrational?
