He’s using a system that our squad aren’t good enough to adopt, playing out from the back and possession at all costs. A high press too often finds us lacking in the basic passing and positional skills that the system relies on. Add to that the poor quality squad where National League standard players are usually first picks for the starting eleven and it’s all downhill from there. And there is no plan B. The injury list doesn’t help either, but I’m sure all Clubs suffer that.
I’m giving him the next two games, lose those and we’re deader than corduroy. If our owners don’t see that then they’re stupid - but I don’t think they’re stupid.
