    Well done today, but

Good performance, hats off for that.

I wonder why we perform good against the good sides, and loose against the lesser sides. Or should I say, we do well when we meet sides that want to play, but we cant lock up the sides that just sits back.

I dont know why, but its fecking annoying.

I think that's part of the problem, Viking.

There's not enough guile in the team to unlock a stubborn defence.

Having said that, is anyone surprised that, after two games against poor teams (where we, too, looked poor), we were the better side for long periods against the best team in the league.

    How very 'NUFC'.

Very pleased after that (even though I followed on the radio only). Even if we?d lost, we were at the races, pressured them and had them rattled in the first half.
Sounds like Tonali sitting back and Bruno further forward worked well and seems Tonali was everywhere in the first half.

Now all we need is to continue like this and put a run of form together.

Yeah we need teams to play to be able to compete.

If they sit deep we don't have answers. That's something we need to work on.

    We'll get it right hopefully.

And after all of that, the bonus is that we have a super fit Botman to come back.

And haven't we missed that lad.

We certainly have missed him. Especially in games like West Ham. I think any team would miss Botman - hes a class act.
