    Clarets v Rams match thread

Derby come to the Turf tonight having lost their last 3 games and not having won in 5. Paul Warne's job is on the line so it's a good time to play them before they get the "new manager improved performance boost".

We desperately need a free scoring number 9, but who doesn't?

This will be another hard match, particularly if we do not score if we are on top.
I watched their game against Leeds and they worked hard and had a decent keeper. They didn't offer a lot up front, however, it will not be a walk in the park for us.
Derby have not won at the Turf for 20 years with 8 matches played.

Well Ashy,we have plenty of lads forecasting we will score 3 goals tonight, personally I don't think there is a hope in hell of that happening, but I hope I'm wrong..

Could not agree more. Now more than ever is the summer transfer chaos more apparent. No finishing power at all. I think we need a fast right winger and at least 1 striker. Say goodbye to Tresor and try to keep the rest of our key players at the turf. Like watching paint dry tonight around the box.

We play like a Poundland Southgate team and it is even more soul destroying to watch. We really are clueless going forward.WTF did anybody at the club see in Flemming and Houtondji. Can we send Flemming back to Millwall now if possible. For 18 games now Cardy has been working on our problems going forward apparently.Well I can tell him now he is failing miserably-we are no better than in September after the fire sale.
There is not a chance in a million years that we will win promotion with this team and this manager.

Left back Pires is a lovely lad but nowhere near good enough.

Set pieces? A pfhucking nightmare of unadulterated nonsense.

    We REALLY need a centre-forward.
