    Whilst I am not the owners biggest fan. What a board member’s family’s spend their money on is nothing to do with this club.
    Should be nothing to do with us, or the club.

    The owner of Barnsley Football Club buying apartments for ???Millions.
    No surprise there.
    What is a surprise is some supporters keep posting that the club is skint.
    Why FGS !?!?!

    The wealth of the owners has no bearing on the financial health of the club .

    They are two different things , the club is reliant on the ownership to donate 8 million pounds per year so the club can simply pay its bills .

    So the club is skint but the ownership aren't .

    Agree that the wealth of the owner is not the same as the financial HEALTH of the club - but it is the same as the wealth of the club.
    Very few football clubs are financially healthy.
    Only thing stopping the owner pouring millions into the club is football league rules.

    Plenty of ways to get around that though. Just look at Birmingham.

    I?m not saying our owners aren?t putting the funds in, they clearly are. My issue is why the costs are so high each season.
