    Ground staff preparing for Saturday

Been past the stadium this morning, the pitch has been cleared and the heat lamps were on in the 6 yard box.

No complaints if it gets called off Saturday due to the weather, but they are giving it a good go to get this game on.

Wonder if Rotherham railway station will be shut at the weekend, affecting trains & trams, with the flooding.
A lot of fans use the Leeds & Doncaster trains to Rotherham Central
Last time trains went to Meadowhall, then bus's laid on for Rotherham.
    Had to return same way.

They spent many millions of pounds to alleviate this problem by building the giant flood barrier ! So what went wrong ? Is it a total “White Elephant “ ??

Most of the time it?s not actually the railway station that floods, but where the canal and river run side by side behind homeflair at Parkgate.

Apologies I can't attach a photo but a massive shout out to TS for funding a warm air canopy that currently covers the entire playing surface.

This must a cost a pretty penny to hire. All of this to ensure that Saturday's game goes ahead.
