Becomes new stadium manager.
I hope one of the first things on his agenda is nurturing a relationship with the young crew instead of treating them like parasites.....no young fans, no old fans.
He should also let the visually impaired Dundee FC supporters return to their previous spot standing on the terracing below the Main Stand where they stood for many years until they were kicked out by Jim Thomson who declared the area in front of the whole of the Main Stand a Red Covid Zone after these supporters had purchased their season tickets.
Any more ideas? Think a young supporter policy is essential. Also should speak to Dee Promotions.
What's the point making any suggestions? We all know that the Stadium Manager, whoever it is, doesn't make decisions.
All decisions are made by John Nelms and he never goes back on any decision once he's made it because he's never wrong.
Maybe some fans have good ideas. Why should they keep them to themselves? Surely John Nelms would recognise a good idea?
If you have any good ideas you should send them to the SLO John Burke who is a DSA committee member and according to John Nelms his door is always open to the DSA.
I enclose the SLO’s email address. https://dundeefc.co.uk/club/contact-dfc/

That's not altogether true. Yes they were moved from the western end of the old stand enclosure but they were relocated to the Bobby Cox at the same time. I don't know what happened subsequently, I think the volunteer who provided commentary was no longer available. I also don't know if there remains a commentary service for the visually impaired. Does anyone know?
It didn’t suit them being in the Bobby Cox and they now sit in the Main Stand.
At the time Declan Gall who the Dundee FC disabled access officer at the time told me that the club were planning to introduce an audio service for disabled supporters similar to a system they have at West Ham United.
As far as I am aware it never happened.
In the past this service has been provided by a volunteer both at Dens and across the road. For many years the commentary involved no technology just a lad with a strong voice and the listeners stood/seated around him. Once he retired/stopped and in more recent times another lad Sam provided the commentary at both grounds and he spoke into a mike and the listeners had headsets. Sam also retired/moved on and the club are still looking into ways of providing a new service and may well be looking for a new commentator. I don't know if United have replaced Sam in the interim.
