Sensible business considering Ness and Mcarie injuries.

Yes, I like Cundy as emergency cover for Platt but we'd suffer with him at RCB in games we have to win.
McDonald has done well though, so I doubt that the new signing is going straight in.

Another plus he's not coming back after a lengthy injury

I think this may turn out to be the most crucial bit of business this transfer window.
Although I have no idea how good a player he is.
Our back line squad now consists of Bedeau, Platt, Johnson, McDonald, Cundy and a seemingly perpetually injured Macari.

I hadn?t realised until I read the club statement that Macari is going to be out for a prolonged period after his warm up injury at Cheltenham ( so probably not a contact injury). I think this may well be his 3rd spell out this season. Then we had his mysterious injury acquired at home last season. I know this is going to upset a few but I am starting to think he is made of sugar.
There are only about 16 weeks of the season left. So this prolonged period out is going to be at least 4 weeks I suspect and maybe considerably more.
That being so, maybe we should get someone else in as well. Are there any young lads in the academy that are good enough to make the bench?
I suppose if push comes to shove we could put one of our many diminutive midfielders in there.😊
And no, I don?t think for one minute that we can slot George Abbott in there. Defensive midfield isn?t looking to have much cover either.

Interesting one. Seems like our type of defender - these days.

Just watched his interview, what a great impression he left. Really mature and thoughtful. I like him already

Very grounded and knows what he wants to achieve and the learning curve he is on. Looking forward to seeing him play and good luck to the lad.
