    Would love to see Austin?s running stats this year. I?ve come to really respect him as a Notts player.

    Very telling that he's is one of the only survivors who's still playing regularly, Palmer being the other. He may not be flashy, but he's so dependable and hard-working. Teams need players like that.

    Sort of stealing a wage , at best all of it paid for by their current loan clubs Woking and Barrow, at worst just a portion paid for by us.....! In my eyes both good players at the time for us, no very good players at the time. However we have moved on as circumstances dictated and i hope their loans prove a successful stepping stone for them.

    For the first time that I remember I was given a Notts County Calendar for the year, a player a month. I'm staring at January's, Dan Crowley. April will be Cedwyn. Next Christmas I will ask for a resumption of more historical or timeless mementos, or stuff that won't last long, like golf balls.
