I wonder if Carole King and Taylor are new to you. Ive got to the point where if i hear those songs i switch off. Its like eating a good tomatoe spaghetti every day, it palls.

I knew a night club singer many years ago, i asked him about singing and he said its boring. Every now and again though, he sings a song likes its for the first time.

Every now and again i can hear an old song and its like im hearing it for the first time, i dont know how that works, when he feels it the night club singer put his heart into it.

Music is like a drug, use it too much, it becomes impotent, which is why finding new music is important. But there isnt any, new music doesnt exist, not good stuff anyway.

Its about hitting the law of diminishing returns, it hit me when i was about 25 26, i thought is this all there is?, and the answer is yes, when you....i hit that point life is about managing it, not enjoying it. A spritual crisis if you like.

Look at United, i dont give the faintest eff, you can apply that to nearly everything. Why didnt you go to Accrington, utterly disgusting, call yourself a fan.

When i think back to all the away games i went to.......what a child i was.

Let me explain you havent got it. Yes i do like Carol King, ive already dsescribed Tapestry as a solid gold album, it is excellent. But as i did with Tapestry, the music becomes predictable boring. It isnt, but it becomes so because youve listened to it too much.

If you wait long enough though, hearing it again can become a joy again for a time. On earth as it is in heaven by Morricone, even that palls, amazing.

Going a step further, this law applies to everything.

Even you lost your enthusiasm for County. I enjoy life at times, when the sun is out, morning coffee, proper coffee not freeze dried, one persons company, most people are toxic, being alone, my dogs.

When your old, life is to be endured, for me from my mid 20s.

Ive restarted acrylic painting, i have spaces to fill, thats enjoyable, cooking well can be pleasing. TV is abysmal, football too, politics is like observing the functions of hell, all is corrupt. As for King, her music is brilliant....but all palls.
    Eventually.
