    Angry Foster (again!)

What does this dude actually bring to Burnley Football Club?

I watched him last night and in reality he offers little and does not influence the game in anyway whatsoever.

One jammy assist, no goals, no threat, no nothing.

    Get shut quick.

He looks better playing out wide left and the team looks more balanced for it.

Last night he had some good driving runs and weighed in with an assist, which there was nothing jammy about

I have said it before, he isn't a striker and I see his present position our best chance to get something from

If he isn't a striker what was the reason Der Kaiser bought him?

If we could weigh him and Obafemi in and get someone right in the middle of the park (like Ings or Austin in their heyday) we would almost certainly go up.

Judging by our recent signings Charlie could be in a taxi now on his way to Gawthorpe.

I thought he had a half decent game BT.A good assist-very similar to one in our promotion season by Tella to JRod.He needs some time to get his confidence back.

Kompany obviously got it wrong like he did last season

We have to make the most of him and playing him out wide is our best option.

My main gripe is our lack of goals from set pieces. Anthony has a great delivery and we should be weighing with double figures at this level

Against a team as poor as Plymouth Alfie, there should have been more than 'some good moments'. I keep waiting for him to come good, how long do I have to wait ?

    Is the criticism really fair?
Foster started the fifrst 8 matches of the season and we won 4 drew 3 and lost 1 scoring 13 goals and conceding 4.
He was injured playing for South Africa and did not feature at all between 5 October untill he came on as a sub on 26 December 2024 and played 4 minutes. He was again a sub in the next three matches and totalled 25 minutes on the pitch.
He started the game last Friday against Sunderland and then again last night.
In the games he has started this season we have won 5 drawn 4 and lost 1 scoring 18 goals and conceding 4.
He has scored the 1 goal and has 2 assists.

If he stays fit and starts matches he could well be a major asset in the balance of the team playing on the left hand side. He has pace and just needs to get proper match fit. He has played only 195 minutes of league football since 5 October 2024, whereas his team mates have played 19 matches.
