    Negative Again

Parker can do one for me - the opportunity to lay down a marker was there and we went back to the same old dross - it is not entertainment and I refuse to be told that Parker has worked miracles.

We showed not one scrap of ambition to win the game and that?s enough for me - for the deluded among you who think what?s being served up is ok I feel sorry for you.

How can it be so negative - we played 80% of our football in our own final third /18 yard box and still managed a soul destroying 0-0

I?m not a happy lad again tonight imo it?s not acceptable - so cross we didn?t have a go at winning the game - BORING

I thought Leeds were head & shoulders the better team on the night, it's easy to see how they are top of the table.

For the life in me I cannot understand what is the point of bringing Hannibal on with only minutes to spare and for the love of God can we please get rid of Foster. He is awful beyond belief.

All in all I'm happy with a point and yet another clean sheet.

From somewhere and I know not where we simply have to acquire a goalscoring centre forward in the Charlie Austin mould. I love Flemming but tonight he had two half chances which a proper goal scorer might have given us all 3 points.

If Foster is the answer we have one hell of a problem. A young lass who sits a couple of rows in front is usually as quiet as a church mouse but tonight totally off script she shouted "Foster get off the pitch you great big Fanny!"

Negative we may be but I am trying to stay positive as after tonight’s game we remain in good position to take one of the automatic promotion spots. Leeds are the best team in the Championship this season but have not beaten us home or away nor scored a goal against us. Ten of us thought this game would be drawn though there were not many 0-0 predictions. Perhaps Leeds strong attack and our goal fest at Plymouth discouraged more 0-0 predictions for this game. We really could do with smuggling a number 9 into Turf Moor in what remains of the transfer window because I feel Flemming would be the perfect foil in the right striking combination. How we would love to see another “Vokes/Ings” partnership.

    A Nathan Tella would suffice.

I can only think CIB something is a foot ie we were in for Whitaker job done apparently and then decided with terms agreed etc to retract and wait - hence he ended up with Boro .

Reading between the lines I think a forward is coming and we knew that hence our retraction - I look at Parker’s previous promotions though and it’s been a target man Solanke ant Bournemouth and mitrovic at Fulham that suited his style of play.

I hope we have a change of tact though if we do get one through the door as he won’t score many for us messing around in our own 18 yard box. ( where we spend most of our time in games at the moment )

Looked forward to last night - rushed home - tea and was once again underwhelmed with lack of ambition -

Parker has it wrong for me at the minute Flemming struggles against 2 decent centre backs and doesn’t have the pace or know how to trouble them ( he’s willing and tries ) barely involved in this game and needs to play in the hole behind a front man who can stretch centre backs and occupy them enough to create space for flemming the no10 to hurt teams.

Neither us nor Leeds are anywhere near good enough for the EPL. Yo-yo time again.

Not playing like we do BT , however we have players capable of so much more - sadly Parker?s set up
Is an accident waiting to happen at the higher level.

The balance is in the middle under VK we played open toe to toe football and got punished a lot for that under Parker it remains to be seen how we would set up.

I?d keep my season ticket anyway because you get to watch some of the best footballers in the world , but the idea of us messing around in our own 18 yard box against superior quality fills me with dread tbh,

It?s shocking at this level now - god knows the consequences if we persist and do get promoted.

Just what I was thinking during the game last night. We're getting away with all this fannying about in our own half, just about, but this is the Championship, we wouldn't get away with it against any half decent PL team.

IF we get promoted to the PL then under Parker it will probably be something like the following:-

    Liverpool 9 Bournemouth 0

"The south coast side were hammered 4-0 by champions Manchester City, lost 3-0 at home to Arsenal and totally capitulated after conceding twice in the opening five minutes at Anfield.
Parker's men have conceded the most goals in the top flight this season (16) and at the other end have netted just twice.
Their total of 21 shots from their opening four games is the second fewest since Sunderland had 20 in 2012-13."

If we had have opened up last night and gone toe to toe with Leeds who have pace to burn, they would have done us on the counter.

Not saying Parker played the perfect game, because we didn't win, but what he did was completely nullify Leeds who wouldn't have scored if they played all night

We are great to watch when we play the ball between the keeper, defenders and midfield dropping back to join in. We rarely lose possession with Trafford being a master at the heart.

Trafford deserves a mention he really is excellent with his feet which is so important in the modern game. Trafford who I rate higher than Pope and Heaton even at this stage of his career, will go on to be Englands No 1 for years to come

Esteve and CJ Egan what a defensive pairing these 2 are. They must be the envy of the championship, them with Trafford are on a different level than the rest

Flemming. Wish this fella could head a ball, he missed a sitter 1st half that Wood would have buried. On a positive he grafted and battled up top on his own and put in a real shift, although due to his lack of height he won little in the air

Foster. Poor again and at times looked disinterested, although it can't be easy playing in a side has defensive as ours
