Out for the season, 1 c/f for run in.

Well done whoever is responsible for that .........I don't know to be honest........but it's absolute incompetence.

It beggars belief. We end up fielding puny teams like we did on Saturday. Although the manager has persisted with the tactics that see us beaten so easily, I cannot help but suspect that he is not getting the funds that we think he is. Not spending the McCowan money. We presumably got a fair wedge from Forest for the young keeper Graham, and getting Main off the payroll. And we signed another centre half, got two very young Mexicans on loan and a left back, who wont get a game while Larkeche is here. Yet we need a striker and a fighter for the middle. Probably would cost money, but sensible when compared to the losses associated with relegation. I may well be completely wrong and I certainly don't have any supposed inside info.

We paid fees for Murray, Samuels, Ingram, Billy, and Donnelly, so we have spent money. I would imagine that we paid Main off, as there would be know way he’s getting the same money at Ayr, as he was here. The January window was mind boggling signing 2 young, small in stature Mexicans, a left back who at the moment is 3rd choice, and not beefing up the Midfield, and forward line. Fraser has been a disastrous signing and will likely cost us about 20k per game if we’re lucky.
Like you, I have no inside info, but if Murray was to get injured, we would be in even more trouble than we are now.

Yes but given what we really needed, and accepting that we were short of a left back, did we really need the signings at the most recent window, before a target man at very least, but also a proper midfielder.

Surely it was up to Tony Docherty to advise Nelms which players he needed to sign for the team including a replacement for Curtis Main for the remainder of this season during the January transfer window.
As a result the club will likely lose the opportunity to have a second home derby match against the Dabs which can bring in around ?100k for the Dundee FC coffers as we will be in the bottom six after the split and they will be in the top six.

There is always a first time for everything but it is Nelms who decides the budgets before the start of the season for each department in Dundee Football Club.
If the 1893 Foundation had been set up in a similar fashion to AberDNA fund and the Ayr United AU500 fund Tony Docherty would have received additional funds to be added to his player budget.

It?s really funny watching your team implode, yet again , the fun entertain the masses of Scottish football and when you get relegated this time you won?t be back and will finally fold. I?m gong to really enjoy the next 11 weeks 2025 the year the Dee finally Die yeehah
