Stephen Cooper - Ex-Football Manager - New Job in Football.
Stephen Cooper has been hired by UEFA as a Technical Observer.
His first match in the job was during the the mid-week Champions League game between
Feyenoord & Inter Milan, with Inter Milan winning the game 2-0.
Cooper was responsible for analysing the game from a coaches perspective, as well as
selecting the player of the match award.
Also tasked with producing a report that provides tactical feedback, that can be used by
up & coming coaches, to help learn & develop from.
Its a position that several top football managers have held, throughout their careers,
with Rafael Benitez, Avram Grant & Gareth Southgate doing the job.
David Moyes was technical observer for UEFA during the Euro's in 2024, with also
Ole Gunnar Solskaer also being technical observer at some point.
I don't think Stephen Cooper will give up the job to come to NYS![]()
