    O/T. Water rates.

    Has anyone got this year's rates yet.
    Had mine Saturday...
    Last year ?643
    This year 894.

    Crikey that’s a lot.
    I’m on a meter and just checked, am paying ?24 month.
    Last year was ?36, so I must be using less.
    As a general rule, if got larger household numbers then rates might be advantageous
    Low numbers in house better off with a meter.

    Get a meter for free, use it for a year.
    If your bill is lower keep it.
    If not go back to normal. Easy.

    Same here Crash over 20 years since was paying ?36 month, put water meter in total for year ?212.
    A big saving, plus if you decide not to use the meter reading for paying your bill, & return to normal billing after 12 months, they just leave the meter in, this was in a 3 bedroomed house.
    Now in a bungalow with water meter, ?26 a month.
