    What difference it makes

When we push forward quickly. We had seven or eight clear chances and scored two when we pushed forward quickly. When we slowed it down and tried passing it around deliberately to maintain possession, we never looked like scoring. Admittedly, Watford played in a way that allowed us to push forward quickly but whenever their build up broke down we always had three players breaking out, which made all the difference.

Indeed! Lost count of the number of times that various posters on here have commented about this so nice to see them doing more of it at last. I think part of Fellows' spate of underwhelming performances was due to us not getting the ball out to him quickly enough.

And yet we could have easily let 6 in with better finishing from Watford. Some good moves up front though and if only Grant had squared to Armstrong we would have had 3. We have to beat Coventry next Friday which is a big ask. Failing that it will be too little too late. We always look better with Mikey and Tom on the wings. More of a threat.

And we could easily have had six. I would rather lose 5-4 that dominate possession and lose 1-0

True. We need to be more attacking minded.

    Couldn’t make it today sadly.

We really need to take the game to them or it will be curtains.

Absolutely. It was clear to me that Bartley is the main instigator. Time and time again he demanded the short pass from Griffiths and proceeded to stop, and gesticulate with upturned hands imploring someone to come to him for his 5 yard pass. Dreadful.
In his defence, the occasional long pass up both wings threatened. Unfortunately his accuracy with these is often amiss.
His constant 2 yard pass with his free kicks, when well in their half is a disgrace.
Such a shame AJ remains injured….despite his schoolboy defensive errors, he is always an attacking threat.

Absolutely right Prando. He has to pass it 5 yards because his distribution is awful.

Would like to see an unchanged team for Coventry assuming no pull outs due to injury
