    Warrington's summer job.

Is to find two new goalkeepers. End of.
Requirements: tall, strong, hands like shovels, can kick with both feet, aggressive, mean streak.
I don't care if they are young or old.
This is arguably the most important position on the pitch and this season we have had the worst incumbents for many a long year.
Clough had a decent keeper at Forest but even so he knew he had to get one better. Ditto Shankly at Liverpool. Ferguson signed a few duds before he got the top man.
Am I right? You're not wrong Tiger

Logic suggests he will try to bring in one goalkeeper as first choice with Dawson being the number two.

Has Warrington himself even signed up for next season, not seen anything or may have missed it. Be a big loss on the goalkeeping side if he doesn?t commit.

No I haven't. But like you I've not seen anything to indicate that he's staying

If anything I?m hopeful that Rob Scott again gets to recommend players and is listened to by the management, which I think he will be now. And Andy Warrington does sign on as he seems a very decent coach from the outside👍

The only thing was in the announcement of the manager's appointment it said something to the effect that MH would be recruiting his staff and then Warrington would take up the position of permanent goalkeeping coach.
Hopefully that's all been signed up.

Been reading Andy Warrington with the Millers until end 2024/25 season.

Then - On the official Rotherham United website, on the news of Matt Hamshaw taking the managers job,
in the statement, [part of statement]

" The agreement will see Matt Hamshaw given the opportunity to add further coaching staff to his backroom
team - When he deems it suitable to do so, but in time to appropriatly prepare for the 2025/26 campaign
    - & will eventually pave the way for Andy Warrington to become our permanent goalkeeping coach, once
the appointments have been confirmed. "

So reading this, Andy Warrington has not signed a contract beyond the end of the 2024/25 season.

If Warne comes in with a better offer I can?t imagine he?ll stay with Rotherham.
