I dislike jingoism but have no problem with people celebrating our country. Certainly there is much in our history and culture -past and present-not to be proud about but there is also much to celebrate and over all, I am pleased to be English. I like much of our heritage and agree with many of our values. Only one thing confuses me a bit, wasn't St. George some Greek guy who fought for the Romans?

    Happy St.George's day all!
