Has to go time for the next clown off the academy conveyor belt !!!!
Has to go time for the next clown off the academy conveyor belt !!!!
Its 3 wins in the last 18 games and LB talks about next season as though those results don't matter.
All those fans thinking promotion or the play offs was a certainty?
Surely those results mean getting the sack which he can hardly complain about!
Relegation form which started when he decided that defence was the best form of defence!
No manager should be able to think he is OK for another season after those results. We were above Port Vale at Christmas etc.
So what happened here to get the results he has?
In the past there were some players who knew they were not good enough for a league above and decided to keep to the status quo!
Not joining the chorus yet but he has to be on notice. 2 calamitous 2nd halves of the season.
Crewe fans are far too timid to demand the manager is sacked after 3 wins in 17 games. Most clubs they would have gone a long time ago.
Just look on this site here, A thousand views and hardly any comments. No wonder managers and coaches think they have a job for life here..LB is talking about next season as though its a shoe in?
So analyse what has gone wrong since Christmas and come up with a solution.
We knew the strike force was almost zero back in August and why did the Chairman sit on his hands back then? In fact why did he appoint someone like this with no experience of league football? LB was far too complimentary about the players, week in and week out.
I suspect the ST sales with be vastly reduced next time.
Mind you, it's interesting to see some posters we haven't seen for a while particularly in the 1st half of the season.
Does anyone have an inkling as to what has seemingly gone wrong behind the scenes?
Strange that Cooney and Bogle are playing no part in the matchday squad recently...
Any one heard owt on t'grapevine ??
As I don't do TwitFaceXgram, I'm also desperate to hear what's going on there. Of course, might be nothing. But if there is something it will probably leak out after Saturday. In which case, it must be substantial as Bogle was on a 2 year contract. He also expressed the feeling that "he was loved" at this club in an article in 'Inside Crewe's.
Bearing in mind being halfway through a contract (if there is anything 'going on'), would he have to be paid off or transfer listed? In either case there would have to have been some big 'set to'.
In Cooney's case, he may just have been given advance notice of being in need of a new club for next season.
Who knows???
