    Dike

Really pleased for the guy, played 60 mins, did very well in scoring his goal and making one, his reaction at scoring was fantastic, just shows what we have been missing, hopefully next season he can stay injury free

Dike was obviously quite emotional over getting his goal which shows how much he wanted it after coming back from two serious injuries. TM was obviously concerned over his fitness levels in that last interview hence his restricted playing time but I believe he does have the desire which TM's interview seemed to question if I remember?

If both can remain injury free next season then with having Maja and Dike in contention for the number 9 spot, I see no reason to panic about bringing another striker in. The critical thing will be being able to provide the service they need.

Anyhow, as you say, very pleased for him.

Undoubted commitment, but sadly plagued with injuries. He looked a strong threat and I hope he does indeed earn his place in our starting squad next season.

I’m very pleased for him, getting that goal must have been so satisfying. I still think, though, that those injuries will leave him very prone to recurring issues and we just can’t afford to take that risk.
