    Down to the wire...

...by the looks of it. At least for that 5th place.

With our form, I think 5th is the best we can hope for. I just hope were still in it when we take on Everton in that last game.

Aye,...or we might even be confirmed as top 5 by then.

Now that would be some lap of honour.

I?m hoping it?s all sorted before the Everton game,my nerves couldn?t stand it! Chelsea won?t be easy either. The Arsenal game, would take a point now. Our form is so up and down I think 5 th is best we can hope for, unless other results you our way.

We'll beat Chelsea, they never do well at SJP & we're a better team than them.

I don't know why this game has changed anyone's opinions.

We all knew our record down there is shocking & most people in the thread about the 'run-in' had this one down as a draw.

We're still in the same position.

We've got Arsenal's number. We can beat them. We have beaten them 3 times this season already.

Chelsea beat us 2-1 at the Bridge earlier in the season. We will beat them at SJP.

On a plus point, we deserved to win that game against Chelski

It's a one of shoot out on the day at SJP.

It's a lunch time kick off, the Chelsea lot will not be in a good mood having set off from London around 5am.

We will win that game. The Toon army will be in rude voice and well up for it.

We know that this one is make or break and the lads and lasses will roar the boys on to victory!

However, bigger picture. Ain't it exciting that we're still in their fighting for a UCL spot when at points earlier in the season the trolls were calling for Eddie's Head.

The cup win and the fact that we've all said that this hasn't been a 'particularly league good season.'

We've been beaten by Brighton, West Ham and someone else Sh!t at home this season and lost matches that we should have won.

Yet here we are, still swinging for the fences with a top 5 birth in our own hands, nothing other clubs can do to stop us if we perform as we know we can.

2 wins at home and we've done it!

    HOWAY THE LADS!

I was relieved and quite happy with the point at Brighton. I think anyone who watched the game should be - we couldve easily lost.
Win at home and draw away is what we should aim for - and that was achieved at Brighton.
Having said that, I cant understand why people on social media are saying Chelsea are sh*t. Caicedo, Neto, Lavia, Palmer - really? We will need to play well to beat them.
