Did I miss the big announcement?
T/S probably going on holiday.
Didn't anyone get the email?
There's going to be knockabout fun and games for everyone during the day. There'll be plenty of games on the NYS pitch from 11.00 am.
All prizes will be pre-wrapped and placed in a large box. It will be a lucky dip box.
There'll be several categories for each of the competitions depending on who turns up on the day.
11.00 am Throw a Plastic Pie. The longest distance thrown is the winner who gets to choose a prize from the lucky dip box. Judge Jeff Crungley will officiate.
11.30 am Throw a football.
The longest distance thrown is the winner who gets to choose a prize from the lucky dip box. Contestants will need to sign a disclaimer for this event. Pulling shoulders out of joint has often occurred at these competitions. Judge Fiona Frippet will officiate.
12 noon The Wet Sponge Challenge. Local celebrities will be locked in wooden stocks and people will be able to throw wet sponges at them.
There'll be no prizes for this challenge. It's just for amusement and entertainment only. If anyone gets wet that's just hard cheese.
12.45 pm Ferret Racing. Owners of ferrets will need to contact the Club and sign up for this event.
The fastest ferret through a 12 metre plastic pipe will be declared the winner. Each ferret will be timed by Judge Bob Standing a well renowned ferret fancier from Frickley.
There'll be a prize for the winner from the lucky dip box. All ferrets will need to be muzzled and well supervised by their owners.
1.30 pm The Best Dressed Dog Show. This gives dog owners a chance to dress their dogs up to the nines. There will be a prize for First, Second and Third plus rosettes. Dog owners will need to keep their dogs on a lead and muzzled. Dogs and ferrets might not get on. World famous Jim Lopskill will be casting his clinical eye over this event.
2.00 pm. A live band will kick off with some great dance music. Well that's the plan.
2.30 pm Would be Rock Stars will be given their chance to shine in a karaoke competition. There's a prize for the first three in this karaoke competition. If there are any prizes left in the lucky dip box it will be a miracle.
Judges will be RUFC Players providing they've not all gone on holiday.
Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but it all seems very low key for such a milestone which is approaching fast.
Is there any plans afoot ? What would others MM posters do to mark the occasion?
As a minimum I would have had the Centenary season shirts displayed &/or paraded at the last home match of the season & ready for sale on the 27th as per the Clubs post 6 months ago, but it looks like a no

So it seems that the countdown is just to the announcement of what is to come!
A match would be great. With sides representing Town and County. Preferably on Monday 26th, day before the centenary, but that won't happen.
Rumour going around that Paul Douglas is arranging a marquee event with the players from the original team in 1925 playing the current squad. Billy Heald will lead the home team with Matt Hamshaw leading the current day squad.
Delay is mainly down to difficulties in confirming availability but PD has this all in hand
