We’ll take on 2. Bundesliga side SV Darmstadt during a pre-season training camp in Germany next month.
The friendly will be played at Darmstadt’s 17,800-capacity Merck-Stadion am B?llenfalltor on Wednesday 9 July (6.30pm local time).
It will be the first of three matches we play before retuning to the UK on Wednesday 16 July, with a full schedule and ticket details to be confirmed ASAP.
Darmstadt finished 12th in the German second tier last season, having been relegated from the Bundesliga the previous year.
The city is located near Frankfurt in south-western Germany

Seen on their bored:
Ich wei?, allerdings sind die Engl?nder in jeder Liga sehr reisefreudig. Da werden schon ein paar kommen.
"I know, but the English of every league love to travel. There should be quite a few coming."
From F.C. Kaiserslautern's site... (Platz 4 is one of the training pitches outside the stadium, not the main stadium itself)
"...Before heading to training camp, another friendly match is scheduled at Betzem: On Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Red Devils will host fourth-place Notts County. The world's oldest professional football club currently plays in League Two, the fourth-highest English league, and missed promotion to League One in the playoffs last season. Kick-off against the Nottingham team is at 1:30 p.m.
Saturday, 12 July 2025,
1:30 p.m.: 1. FC Kaiserslautern vs. Notts County FC,
Platz 4 at the Fritz-Walter-Stadion.
Ticketing information to follow."

Now also announced by Notts...
"We’ll kick off the trip with a visit to SV Darmstadt’s 17,800-capacity Merck-Stadion am B?llenfalltor on 9 July (6.30pm local), before visiting FC Kaiserslautern’s training ground, situated in the shadows of their Fritz-Walter Stadium, on 12 July (1.30pm local).
As we only expect to be allocated around 200 tickets for the Kaiserslautern fixture, we strongly advise supporters to avoid making concrete plans based on attending that match until we’re able to share ticketing details, which will follow ASAP.
We’re also in the process of arranging a third friendly towards the end of our camp, which concludes on Wednesday 16 July.
Darmstadt and Kaiserslautern are cities in south-western Germany, with Darmstadt situated south of Frankfurt and Kaiserslautern nestled near the Palatinate Forest to the west."
