O/T Glastonbury

Anyone been watching any of the Glastonbury performances? Music is supposed to ?lift the soul? but from what I?ve seen of it there?s been precious little to do that. I was looking forward to the Alanis Morrisette performance but fro the little I did see of it, what a disappointment. Brandi Carlile was good but the other female ?singers? were truly dreadful. Neil Young, though, was very good indeed, in my opinion, what a star!

Unfortunately, the festival included some rap, which is not, by any stretch of the imagination, music; ?kin terrible.

Overall, apart from the two mentioned above, there?s better music and entertainment in my local pub on the open mic night, all for the price of a couple of pints (?3 per pint).

At my age I know very few artists who performed but have watched bits.
Saw almost all of Neil Young's set. I remember him from 1970 in the charts so he's had some longevity.
Most of the tunes he played I recognised, he does what he does well.
I watched some of Rod earlier today, so many other people on stage tends to show what a distraction you need from yourself, though to be fair he was ok.
I'm never sure of the people who go to Glastonbury. I haven't been to a festival since Reading 1980.
I reckon the 1st televised festival shown on the TV was live aid 1985.

That horrible Kunt Bob Vylan should now get the same three year sentence which Lucy Connolly received. Incitement to kill and hatred no different!

I see the USA have evoked their entry visas. Good for them and no messing around with scum from them anymore.

Glastonbury not the music festival it was with political views and s hite! Why don?t all these lefties waving Palestinian flags go and protest in Gaza!

I wouldn?t go to Glastonbury if tickets were offered free including a stretch to take me there,

Thankfully I didn't see any of that stuff.
Regarding flags, I would ban them all as the audience want to see the artists on the stage, surely.
