3rd choice kit update - What a farce.

Driving past so been down to the club shop this morning.

Having been told last week by the Manager that the black/white kit was coming in yesterday but, not on sale until this coming Monday, I thought I'd chance it and also enquire about the season tickets.

Get ready for this.......I was reliably informed by a member of staff that this shirt hasn't even docked in the UK yet and it's somewhere out there floating on the ocean on a container ship. To double it up, he said it won't be available until the end of August! What is going on?

The club sound out they need more investment into the club and they can't even organise our much anticipated and eagerly awaited away kit, talk about lost revenue. The home and away kits are already in so why not the third choice one, surely they were all made together?

It's a great design and with the centenary badge on it makes all the more appealing as a collectable item. I know it's the third choice kit but, it still remains that some fans might prefer this one to the black/gold 2nd kit but they look like waiting, me included.

The club announced this yesterday https://www.themillers.co.uk/news/20...stock-delayed/

They get a lot wrong at Rotherham United by I'd guess in this instance the blame lies with Puma rather than the club itself.

As for "surely they were all made together?", probably not, same factory maybe, but they'll likely be done as different production runs at different times. Hence why clubs rarely release all their new kits at the same time and stagger it through the summer.

They'll probably be Chinese knock-offs from DHGate.com. I know somebody who bought the third shirt from there for 6 quid.

Spot on mate, know quite a few ordered them, some from just over 6 pounds to 12 pounds.
Can't blame them, with the cost of club shop prices in all football clubs shops in Premier & EFL
