    Squad Cost Ratio

Squad Cost Ratio will replace the existing Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) for the 2026/27 Premier League season. Thoughts on how this will affect Burnley?s operating costs next season?

All swings in favour of the big boys.

Clubs like Burnley, Bournemouth and Fulham will struggle to compete even if their owners are mega rich. We have to be extremely savy in the transfer market like Brentford have been over recent years, or we could receive fines or points deductions.

To be competitive at this level you are talking of a T/O in the region 500 million; against ours of 140 million, so we really are punching at this level

For our size, BFC are in the top 5 most successful clubs over the last 10 years

This is not how capitalism is supposed to work. FFS let those with the brass buy the best. Free market capitalism and all of that.
