    Great Win for Hull

At Millwall yesterday with Mcburnie scoring. Hull will be really up for it now next week before Xmas.

Shilen is needed at this match 😭

Yep, away at Hull on Saturday will be the real test Al -and no excuses around a crowded fixture list this week either. I'm not expecting a win tbh but I do expect a performance like we have proven capable of in the second halves of recent games and another away loss certainly wont sit well. I'm sure Mr Patel will be watching with interest!

Can’t see us getting anything to be honest Omeg and if we revert to type then Mason should be sacked. I honestly have nothing against the guy but he just seems clueless. I am sure Patel has noticed the many empty seats increasing each week and even the away allocations are not selling out now. Anyway we are coming up to Xmas so family is much more important so hope you are getting all those close to you around.

A loss at Hull unless overwhelming wont get him the sack
The home form is holding up and depends what the club intends to do in the Jan window

Totally agree about family Al. A combination of distance / time/ money doesn't make it easy to physically see everyone too often these days but I'm hoping to catch all the kids and most of the grandchildren at some point over Xmas and New Year though a trip to the Midlands to my mum and dad's may have to wait. Just had grandchild number 10 who we will see on Boxing Day and have also recently heard that number 11 is on the way. Brilliant news-though together with a few increasing aches and pains it also makes me feel increasingly old! 😁

As for the Albion, I'm just hoping that they can at least put in a decent performance away against Hull. Our home form isn't bad but it's playing entertaining football as much as winning games that puts bums on seats.

Pleased with your news Omeg as that’s great. It will make you feel younger. I get what you’re saying about aches and pains - apart from other issues I now have real pains in my lower back causing shooting pains in my leg which seems to be sciatica. Doctors seem to throw anything at you but not touching diazepam which they prescribed along with other things. Warmer climates do help - my excuse anyway!

Hope we get a win but Xmas and lots of red wine coming up 😭

Sorry to hear about your back pain Al and can certainly sympathise with you. I've suffered on and off with sciatica for years. Unfortunately, once you've got a "bad back" you never seem to get rid of it and, rather frustratingly, it never comes on because you've done something stupid like trying to lift something heavy or not followed best manual handling/ lifting practices but rather when you've tries to do something simple and just twisted the wrong way😞

For a few years, I've done some basic tai chi style stretching exercises that have certainly helped as I very rarely get it now as badly as I used to. Even so, I always start to feel twinges come late November when the temperature suddenly drops and I find myself reaching for the ibuprofen gel in the morning! It happens too often for it to be co-incidence so your reason to escape to warmer climes may well be true and not merely an excuse simply for sun and a few relaxing glasses of red 😀

Anyhow, hope you begin to feel better soon!
