    No Favours

One things for sure we can't rely on our fellow strugglers to do us any favours. Oxford won with Blackburn and Pompey both drawing and Norwich are set fair to beat Coventry. And to cap it all these sides all look far better and sharper than us. We are doomed I tell ya, doomed

Down to 20th now, Norwich doing very well,
I suppose this is what happens when you change managers in a timely fashion and get the replacement right.

Norwich win and go above us. Lose at the weekend and Blackburn win and we are in the bottom three having played more games than others!

    Unbelievable

Good win for Norwich at home which takes them up to 18th but drops us down to 20th with those below us having games in hand.

Lots of happy Canary fans (and, no doubt, a bit of gloating) to face tomorrow evening at work but it might be worth remembering that until very recently Norwich fans have endured an even worse season than ourselves. Proof that sometimes-as Manure are also finding- a change of manager can work wonders. After a sticky start, let's just hope that Ramsay can now kick on and replicate the trend!

    Agreed Al!
With Ramsay being able to spend more time on the training ground with the players prior to this game, I'm hoping for a continued improvement as well as the 3 points. Hopefully Mowatt may be fit enough for contention by then too. I felt Diakite and Molumby did well against Derby to be fair but, whilst we are still in desperate need of a creative midfielder, I think Mowatt brings more.

Haven't read any updates on either Grant or Bielik so hope that none of their injuries are serious as we will need both of them in our upcoming games.

If things go well on Saturday, do you think Ollie Bostock may get some minutes?

Morning Al. Me and the lad will be on the train for Pompey away. Things could get very messy. And that's before taking a scrappy game of football into account. And after it as well. Hic 😎.

Teams at the bottom seem to be picking up points in recent games and picking up form.
Portsmouth have only lost 1 of their last 6 league games.
There are still 17 games to go for us this season in the league so I hope we start to improve and start to move up to mid table safety but it's a game by game process and we need to see what they are like on Saturday with whatever team they put out.
A welcome distraction from football will be the Winter olympics which start a week Friday.

Jealous Dan and hope you and the lad have a great day. I have to go down to London Friday for the day for repeat scans as not looking good otherwise would love to have come.
