Looking through the attendance home game stats and I didn't realise we've never hit a 10k+ gate this season.
If I recall, correct me if I'm wrong but, didn't we sell close to 7k of S'T's this season? Throw in the floating home fans and you would expect it to average around 8.5k. With this in mind it still doesn't tally up with the likes of Bradford and Huddersfield having visited us?
The last 6 home games had an average of 8114. From these, the Huddersfield attendance was 9514 and that's about as good as it gets. The last two homes games were Wimbledon 7787 and Northampton 7228.
Will the new recruits help to increase our attendance and will those who have recently stayed away now return?
It appears Tony Stewart has dug deep again so isn't it now our turn to repay that faith by attending? There's been enough posted and mentioned of how weak we were prior to the transfer window but we're not now. By all means if some fans don't want to, you can't make them, it's their choice. Would just like to see a much bigger crowd now returning and some noise created to get the NYS rocking again like it use to.
NB. I've just realised who's in town this Saturday, table toppers Cardiff and they travel well in numbers so maybe this may well be the first 10k+ gate afterall.
