    Saddle up!

...it could be a rocky ride. Or at least let's hope so! One thing we don't want is the whole campaign to fizzle out. With Tezgel back tomorrow or the next game we're back to the full strength we started with, minus Lunt but plus Lankester.
However, tomorrow we face a team that's rapidly dropped from top to mid-table. Is this another case for Dr Crewe? The away game was pretty dire and the Alex didn't help. Tomorrow we must attack from the off or slowly get ground down in an attritional game. Forecast: another disappointing single goal defeat.

Their capitulation this season puts us to shame in the last two seasons. I think they?ve only won 3 in 19 or something like that but one of them was against us. I?m going for a slim home win because I can see the play off battle getting drawn out for longer for us before we eventually miss out.

I put a lengthy post on last night that answered all of our on pitch, management and financial issues but it failed to post on this damn site. Can?t be bothered to do it all again but in summary we were dreadful yesterday, play off hopes now gone and lager has gone up for the second time this season. To have to pay 5.20 for someone to open a warm can that they paid 60p for is scandalous.

On paper we looked like we fielded a good side with a strong bench but never really got going and as for the first goal I don't think they believed they got away with that, I don't think one of there players thought that was on side that's why they all looked at the linesman before celebrating the goal. It didn't look dangerous and we seemed to have it under control, we somehow failed to clear the ball and then the ball ended up at the feet of a Walsall player who poked it in. Can't bring myself to watch it back to see how bad it was, after that we were on the back foot and never looked like scoring. A bad couple of weeks at the office and 6 points dropped, we are not out of it but we look like and team who have forgotten how to win so its not looking great. The can might be 60p but you have the cost of buying it storing it and serving it, its the cost of living I'm afraid, write a letter to Rachel from accounts.

Yes, Saturday was so terrible that I couldn't trust myself to write anything about it. However, I can't not say it.....some of the 'tactical/formation/substitution decisions were dreadful and....he has to go. He's reached the limit of his abilities. There's a fair bit of talent in the squad. The league is the poorest it's been for a while. This season was our best chance. It's gone and he should be too!
